DAY 1

Journey from Nairobi to Amboseli

The driver will pick you up from the airport or residence, then depart Nairobi at 0700 hrs for a scenic 4-hour drive to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, check in at the lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch as you take in the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spend the early afternoon relaxing at the lodge or by the pool. Later, embark on an afternoon game drive across the park’s open plains, offering a chance to spot large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife. Capture the park’s beauty against the backdrop of Africa’s highest peak. In the evening, return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation and dinner.

DAY 2

Amboseli game drives

This day will fully be spent in Amboseli Park. You will go for an early morning drive at 0600 hrs before returning to your lodge for breakfast. You will then drive back to the grasslands, where you will be able to capture incredible wildlife moments, both predators and herbivores, with your packed lunch. From a distance, Mount Kilimanjaro provides an attractive backdrop for your adventure pictures. Lunch will be served in the midst of the sights and sounds of nature before embarking on an afternoon drive. The violent sun rays will have forced the lion packs into the shades of nature's trees and bushes. Birdlife in Amboseli is also one you will be able to enjoy. As the sun sets on the horizon, you will return to your lodges for dinner with flashbacks of adventure’s best of the park.

DAY 3

Journey to Nakuru

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before checking out from your amboseli accommodation and start your journey to Lake Nakuru, a scenic drive that takes approximately 5-6 hours, offering you a chance to appreciate the Kenyan countryside.
Once you arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park, check in to your accommodation and proceed for lunch, then venture out for an afternoon game drive within the park, known for its flourishing flamingo populations, rhinos, and an array of bird species. As the sun begins to set, return to your accommodation around Lake Nakuru for a delightful dinner and a chance to relax.

DAY 4

Journey to Aberdare National Park

After an early breakfast in Nakuru, depart for Lake Naivasha, one of the Great Rift Valley’s most picturesque freshwater lakes. Enjoy a serene boat ride across its calm waters, where you’ll spot hippos lounging by the shores and a variety of birdlife. The peaceful ambiance and stunning views make it a perfect mid-morning activity.
After the boat ride, continue your journey to the Aberdare National Park, a cool, forested highland paradise known for its scenic beauty and unique wildlife. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge nestled within the forest, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, set out for a thrilling game drive through the dense, misty forests and open moorlands of Aberdare. Keep an eye out for elephants, giant forest hogs, bushbucks, and antelope. Enjoy a guided walk in the evening before returning to the lodge.
The day ends with a relaxed evening back at the lodge, immersed in the tranquil atmosphere of the highlands.

DAY 5

Journey to Nanyuki

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and drive for 2-3 hours toward the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located on the Laikipia plains with stunning views of Mount Kenya. Arrive in time for check-in at your lodge, followed by a freshly prepared lunch to recharge before the afternoon's adventure.

Ol Pejeta is one of Kenya’s premier wildlife conservancies, known for its strong conservation efforts and exceptional game viewing. Embark on a thrilling game drive across the expansive savannah, where you’ll encounter a rich diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five, rare species like the endangered black and white rhinos, and the last two northern white rhinos. The conservancy is also home to chimpanzees, making it the only place in Kenya where they can be seen. Enjoy viewing the sunset on the plains as it offers stunning backdrops for your pictures.
After the game drive, return to your lodge for a relaxed evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

DAY 6

Journey to Maasai Mara

Enjoy an early breakfast, then check out and begin your scenic drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The journey takes you through the heart of Kenya’s diverse landscapes, from the highland plateaus with glimpses of Mount Kenya to the rolling plains dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, enjoy brief stopovers to stretch and soak in the changing views.

Arrive at your lodge or camp in the Maasai Mara in time for a warm welcome and a hearty lunch. After settling in and a short rest, you may opt to relax at the lodge or head out for an optional evening game drive, where the golden light sets the perfect backdrop for spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its abundant wildlife and the dramatic scenes of predator and prey. As the sun sets over the vast savannah, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the raw beauty and rhythm of the African wilderness.

DAY 7

Game drives

Begin your day with an early morning game drive at sunrise, departing early to catch predators returning from their nocturnal hunts. Traverse the golden plains, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras as the savanna awakens. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then head back with packed lunch to explore the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles, and where dramatic wildebeest migration occurs. Stop for a scenic bush picnic lunch before continuing your drive to the Maasai village. A knowledgeable Maasai guide will introduce you to their culture and customs. Engage with the local community, witness mesmerizing traditional dances, and learn about their way of life, including cattle herding and beadwork artistry. This cultural experience offers a deep connection to one of Africa’s most renowned communities. As the sun sets over the vast plains, you will return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

DAY 8

Departure

After an early breakfast, you will check out and depart Maasai Mara around 0700 hrs for the journey back to Nairobi. The drive takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, with a stop in Narok for refreshments. Arrive in Nairobi around midday, drop off at the airport or residence.
