Drive from Dar-es-salaam - Mikumi National Park for a game drive
Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest park in Tanzania covering an area of 3,230 sq kms (1,225 sq miles). It lies to the west of Dar es Salaam and is easily accessed from the city being on the main Mororgoro and Iringa road and is an easy 4 hour drive from Dar es Salaam. The main road runs through the park.
A day trip tour to Mikumi National Park from Dar-Es-Salaam offers a chance to see diverse wildlife like elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras in their natural habitat, you'll be picked up at the hotel around 5:00 AM, and drive to Mikumi (4-5 hours) on arrival you'll begin your game drive, in the midday get your lunch within the park and continue with the game drive.
