DAY 1

Journey to Aberdare National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kenya’s lush highlands, passing coffee and tea plantations along the way. Arrive at your Aberdare lodge, uniquely built overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick. Spend the afternoon and evening watching elephants, buffalo, bushbuck, and possibly the rare bongo antelope come to drink. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge, with nighttime game viewing right from your balcony or lounge.

Treetops holds a special place in history. In 1952, Elizabeth II, then Princess Elizabeth was staying here when she received the news of her father's passing. It was within these leafy branches that she ascended to the thrones of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth realms.
DAY 2

Journey to Ol pejeta

After breakfast, head north with views of Mount Kenya’s snow-capped peaks to the reknowned Ol pejeta conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch, then set out on your first game drive. Explore this renowned reserve, home to the Big Five, the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa, and an impressive variety of predators. It is also the only place in the world with the remaining species of the northern white rhinos. As the sun sets over the plains, return to camp for dinner under the stars.

DAY 3

Game drives

Start the day with a thrilling early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya, and meet rescued chimps in their natural habitat. Continue on to see the enclosure that protects the last two northern white rhinos on Earth. Spend the afternoon tracking lions, cheetahs, elephants, and giraffes across the savannah. Overnight at your Ol Pejeta camp or lodge.

DAY 4

Departure and return

Enjoy one last early morning game drive, soaking in the golden light and final wildlife sightings. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with wonderful memories, incredible photographs, and a deeper appreciation for Kenya’s wildlife and conservation efforts.
