DAY 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in the morning and begin a scenic drive toward Amboseli National Park, passing through the expansive Athi Plains and into the wild landscapes of Amboseli. The park is famed for its close ties to the Maasai culture and its impressive populations of large elephant herds. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an evening game drive where you may spot elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife. On clear days, stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro Africa’s highest peak can be enjoyed from the lodge or camp. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Amboseli Nyati Safari Camp.

DAY 2

full day game drive

Begin your day with an early morning game drive at around 6:30 a.m., setting out before breakfast when wildlife is most active and the chances of seeing the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in clear view are at their best. After this rewarding safari experience, return to the lodge for a relaxed late breakfast. The remainder of the morning is free for you to unwind and enjoy the lodge facilities or simply take in the surrounding scenery. In the afternoon, head back into the park for another exciting game drive in search of Amboseli’s diverse wildlife. All meals and your overnight accommodation will be provided at Amboseli Nyati Safari Camp.

DAY 3

Amboseli to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a morning visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll learn about the Maasai people’s rich culture, customs, and way of life, including their traditional homes, dances, and daily practices. After this cultural experience, you will depart Amboseli and proceed to Namanga Border for drop-off at around 11:00 a.m. Alternatively, you may continue the journey to Nairobi with a lunch en route, arriving at approximately 3:00 p.m. for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
