Day 1
Arrival in the Maasai Mara – Welcome to the Savannah
Depart from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara via road. Alternatively, depart Wilson Airport, Nairobi, on a morning flight to the Olare Orok Airstrip (approx. 1 hour, at own cost). Meet your Kempinski safari guide at the airstrip for a short game drive en route to camp, with possible sightings of giraffes, elephants, and big cats.
Day 2
Full Day Safari Adventure in Maasai Mara
Wake up to coffee or tea served in your tent.
Depart on an early morning game drive, the best time for spotting predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Return to camp for a champagne bush breakfast set along the river. After lunch, visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about local traditions, beadwork, and warrior culture.

Day 3
Wilderness Exploration with a Game Drive
For an unforgettable experience, take a hot air balloon safari over the Maasai Mara (additional cost). Watch the sunrise over the plains and enjoy a bush breakfast with champagne upon landing. then go for a walking safari and then a game drive. Return to camp for a private bush dinner, with lanterns, Maasai entertainment, and starlit views.
Day 4
Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru (drive)
After breakfast, check out. Scenic drive via the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 4.5–6 hours depending on stops) with Severius Adventures and Travels tour guide, John. Check in at The Cliff. Afternoon game drive around the lake — flamingos, rhino, buffalo.
Day 5
Morning Game Drive (Nakuru) and drive to Tsavo West
Sunrise game drive in Lake Nakuru (rhino viewing). Return for breakfast and continue by road to Tsavo West. Arrive Salt Lick Lodge in Tsavo West late afternoon, sundowner and dinner.
Day 6
Game Drives & Culture
Early morning game drive with spectacular encounters with large elephant herds. Midday at lodge (pool/spa). Afternoon game drive and optional Maasai community visit.
Day 7
Relax in the Lodge
Today can be a rest day to just relax and enjoy the lodge. One final evening game drive. Farewell dinner.
Day 8
Depart for Nairobi
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi with our tour guide for your flight home or your overnight hotel.
