DAY 1

Welcome to Kenya – Journey to Amboseli

Karibu Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your personal safari guide. From here, set off on a scenic journey south through the Kenyan countryside, passing bustling villages, acacia-dotted landscapes, and perhaps even glimpses of wildlife along the way.

By early afternoon, you’ll reach Amboseli National Park, famed for its sweeping savannahs and towering views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After checking in at the elegant Ol Tukai Lodge, enjoy a delicious lunch on the terrace as elephants roam the nearby marshlands.

Later, head out on your first afternoon game drive, a golden-hour adventure that introduces you to Amboseli’s iconic wildlife—massive elephant herds, giraffes silhouetted against the sunset, and perhaps even lions or hyenas beginning their evening prowl.

DAY 2

A Day in the Shadows of Kilimanjaro

Wake up to the sounds of nature—trumpeting elephants, chirping birds, and the distant rumble of hooves. Today, the park is yours to explore.

You may opt for a full-day safari with a packed picnic, giving you the chance to delve deep into Amboseli’s contrasting habitats: dry lake beds, wetlands teeming with birds, and acacia forests. Watch for cheetahs resting on termite mounds and buffalo wallowing in mud pools.

Alternatively, take it easy with a split-day safari: enjoy a sunrise game drive when the animals are most active, return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta, then head out again in the late afternoon.
Don’t forget to look up—Kilimanjaro often reveals her snow-capped peak just after sunrise or before dusk, creating a picture-perfect backdrop.
