After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of game viewing in Ol Pejeta. Early mornings are the best time to catch big cats on the move—perhaps a lion stalking prey or a leopard slinking through the grass. The conservancy is rich in wildlife, offering close encounters with rhinos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, wildebeests, and hippos.
Midday, enjoy a packed or lodge-served lunch within the conservancy. In the afternoon, continue your adventure with a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. You’ll also stop by the grave of Sudan, the world’s last male northern white rhino, and meet Baraka, the blind black rhino, whose story helps raise awareness for rhino conservation. As the day winds down, soak in the serenity of Ol Pejeta’s landscapes and don’t miss the dazzling sunset before dinner and overnight.
