DAY 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. From here, you’ll set off on a scenic drive toward the world-famous Masai Mara. The journey takes around five to six hours, with captivating views of Kenya’s countryside and a photo stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Upon arrival at the reserve, check in to your tented camp and enjoy a delicious lunch. After a bit of rest, you’ll head out for your first afternoon game drive. The vast plains of the Masai Mara are teeming with wildlife, and you’ll likely encounter zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and various antelope species. The reserve is also known for its healthy populations of lions and cheetahs, so keep your camera ready. Return to the camp in the early evening for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Mara.

DAY 2

Masai Mara Experience

Wake up early for a morning game drive, when the bush is alive with activity. This is one of the best times to spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs and hippos along the riverbanks.

After the drive, return to the camp for a leisurely lunch and time to relax. Optional activities such as guided nature walks or visits to a local Maasai village can be arranged for those interested in cultural experiences. Later in the afternoon, venture out again for another game drive across the Mara plains. If you're visiting between July and October, you may witness part of the Great Migration, where massive herds of wildebeest and zebras cross the savannah in search of greener pastures, followed closely by their predators. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and your second night in the wild.

DAY 3

Morning Game Drive and Departure to Nairobi

Begin your final day with an early morning game drive—your last chance to spot any elusive animals before the heat of the day sets in. The golden morning light offers perfect conditions for photography and a peaceful farewell to the Mara.

After the drive, return to your camp for breakfast and check out by 10:00 AM. You’ll then begin the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Drop-off will be at the location you arranged in advance, either at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Mara adventure.
