DAY 1

ARRIVAL NAIROBI - MAASAI MARA

The safari begins on Day 1 with a pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Guests depart for Masai Mara National Reserve via the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a brief stopover for photography, before continuing through Narok town. Arrival at the selected lodge or tented camp is in time for lunch, followed by check-in and some relaxation. In the afternoon, guests proceed for their first game drive, offering an opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge or camp.

DAY 2

BALLOON SAFARI

Day 2 is dedicated to a full-day game viewing experience within Masai Mara National Reserve, beginning with an optional early morning hot air balloon safari over the Mara plains. After an early breakfast, guests depart with a packed lunch for an extensive game drive across the reserve. The day is spent exploring different wildlife-rich areas, including the Mara River region, which is famous for seasonal wildebeest crossings. A picnic lunch is served at a designated site inside the park, after which game viewing continues in search of the Big Five and other animals. Guests who participate in the balloon safari enjoy a champagne-style bush breakfast after landing (at an extra cost). In the late afternoon, guests return to the lodge or camp for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. An optional visit to a Maasai cultural village can be arranged at an extra cost.

DAY 3

BACK TO NAIROBI

On Day 3, guests enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge or camp before checking out and beginning the return journey to Nairobi. The drive back includes a stop for lunch en route at the client’s own expense. Arrival in Nairobi is in the late afternoon, with drop-off at the hotel or airport, marking the end of the safari.
