DAY 1

Arrive at JKIA and transfer by road to Aberdare National Park

We're thrilled that you chose to go on safari with us, and now is the moment when all of the planning pays off and your safari dreams begin to come true. You'll meet our team, we'll explain what happens next and answer any questions you might have. Then all that's left to do is go and start this safari trip of a lifetime together.

Expect high-altitude moorlands, dense forests and spectacular waterfalls when you visit Aberdare National Park with us. Because of the dense vegetation, wildlife numbers are lower here, but the rewards include elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, buffaloes, hyenas, and, if you're extremely lucky, black rhinos, black leopards and the much prized bongo antelope. Mau Mau rebels hid in the forest here during Kenya's struggle for independence.

DAY 3

Samburu National Reserve

We think you'll fall in love with Samburu National Reserve at first sight. It's a fantastic reserve that doesn't get the crowds you sometimes see in Kenya's south. The reserve is well-stocked with predators, including lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena, with sightings of elephant, giraffe, hippo and zebra also common. It's a chance to see some northern animals that are hard to see elsewhere, including Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. Fabulous scenery and nearly 400 bird species too

Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is the busiest and highest of Kenya's Rift Valley lakes. The lake has a fascinating history, as a weekend escape for the wealthy during the colonial era.These days, it serves a similar purpose for a refreshingly diverse cross-section of Kenyan society. There is lots to do along the southern shore, and keep an eye out for hippos, zebras and giraffes

Hell's Gate National Park

Hell's Gate is unlike any other national park in Kenya. For a start, it's the only one where you're allowed to get out of your vehicle to walk and cycle. That's because the park is
largely free of predators, leaving the zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes and rock hyraxes (and human visitors) to roam without fear. The red-rock cliffs of Hell's Gate Gorge are stunning with some weird-and-wonderful rock formations, and the narrow Lower Gorge is a wonderful place to explore

Masai Mara National Reserve

Welcome to one of the best safari destinations in Kenya.Here in the Masai Mara National Reserve, you're almost certain to see lions, hyenas, hippos, elephants, giraffes,
wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas and zebras, not to mention the more-than-500 species of birds that have been recorded here. There's also a good chance you'll encounter leopards and cheetahs, while you might also see black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. Another memorable thing
about visiting the Masai Mara is the landscape of vast savannah grasslands with plenty of flat-topped acacia trees
