DAY 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your safari adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. From there, you'll embark on a scenic 5 to 6-hour drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara Reserve. Along the way, take in the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley with opportunities to stop for photos. Upon arrival in the Masai Mara, you'll check into your budget-friendly accommodation and enjoy a light lunch as you settle in. In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the reserve. This initial foray offers a chance to encounter a wide variety of wildlife including zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and—if luck is on your side—even lions or cheetahs. After the game drive, return to camp for dinner and a relaxed evening surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

DAY 2

Masai Mara Game Drives & Maasai Cultural Visit

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to catch predators in action and witness the natural rhythms of the savannah come alive. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and numerous antelope species may all be spotted during these golden hours. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast and some time to rest before midday. Around noon, embark on a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village. This unique experience offers a glimpse into the Maasai’s rich traditions, dances, and way of life. In the afternoon, enjoy another exciting game drive in the expansive Masai Mara. With its diverse terrain and thriving ecosystem, each outing offers new surprises. After a full day of wildlife encounters and cultural exploration, return to camp for dinner and a peaceful evening under the starlit sky.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Enjoy a final morning game drive to catch any wildlife you may have missed. Early hours are ideal for spotting active animals and taking in the tranquil beauty of the reserve one last time. After the game drive, return to camp for breakfast, then check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi. The 5 to 6-hour drive offers time to reminisce about your adventures and the unforgettable moments spent in one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.
