Our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport. You will begin your safari in Zanzibar and take a short flight to the impressive Nyerere National Park, previously known as Selous Game Reserve. Our driver guide will welcome you to Mtemere Airstrip and provide to you a tour plan.This vast wilderness boasts diverse African treasures, including wildlife, birds, rivers, lakes, and more. Keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and a myriad of other captivating creatures. You will enjoy a hearty packed lunch and well-deserved relaxation as the day unfolds. Then, the adventure continues with more game drives, taking you into the enchanting African wilderness until the sun sets. Finally, we will escort you to Selous Safari Lodge for a delightful dinner and a peaceful sleep.

On this day, you will wake up early for coffee or tea and start your morning boat safari. The cruise usually lasts two hours. Incredible views of hippos growling, crocodiles basking on the river banks, and the abundant birdlife will spice up a spectacular sunrise. You will return to the lodge fora full breakfast. Later, you will leave for an eye-opening village tour, where our guide will lead and show you various cultural aspects of the people living in the village. During this time, you will also visit primary schools and spend time with students before returning to the lodge for lunch. You will leave the lodge for your flight back to Zanzibar at 4:00pm. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our driver will wait for you and transfer you to any hotel on the Zanzibar island.
