DAY 1

Dar-es- Salaam – Nyerere National Park.

Meet and greet with our guide and be driven through the African landscape towards Nyerere National Park previously known as Selous game reserve. Here your first safari awaits – a peaceful boat rides at evening to sunset. With a glass in your hand and nature around you, you will feel that magical feeling of being far away from everyday life, and in the middle of something big initially bird watching, crocs and hippos as our main attention. On your arrival at Nyerere national park commence your adventure in the park previously known as Selous game reserve. On your game drive watch out the big cats such as lion, leopard, cheetah here along with other large game animals such as elephant, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, eland, zebra, wildebeest and other wildlife continue exploring the park until sunset. DAY 2

Nyerere National Park-Real Safari.

Nyerere National Park-Real Safari. Rise and shine start your day early following the animal tracks through the wilderness exploring this unique National Park., you will lose no time in the morning to get a fresh kill or see predators hunting. Elephants are found and you will see plenty of giant tuskers’ dust bathing, crossing the river system, and gathering in enormous herds. You can also see cheetah, hyena, lion and leopard, and along with the normal plains game of zebra, buffalo, giraffe, impala, grants gazelle, bushbuck, waterbuck and kudu. Spend the whole days following the animal tracks through the wilderness. With vast landscapes around you and binoculars at the ready, encounters with Africa’s most powerful animals await.

DAY 3

Nyerere National Park-Mikumi National Park.

The morning begins with a guided bushes walk, where you will get closer to nature than you have ever been before. With an experienced guide who has lived his whole life in the area, you will get to know the animals, plants and the small details that are otherwise lost from the car. After guided walk- drive across the Uluguru mountains to Mikumi National Park and arrive at your place of your accommodation. Accommodation at Camp Bastian –FB.

DAY 4

Mikumi National Park.

Choose either full day game drive or half day game drive in the open savannahs which is surrounded by mountains making for great vistas and dramatic skies. Another day filled with unexpected encounters, magnificent views and new impressions. With your camera at your fingertips, you continue to explore Mikumi’s fascinating nature and wildlife – every turn is unique, every moment an opportunity. ACCOMMOATION AT CAMP BASTIAN-FB

DAY 5

Mikumi National Park – Udzungwa Mountain.

After early morning breakfast your guide will
drive you to Udzungwa and upon the arrival get ready for a guided hiking experience.
For those who are keen walkers, Udzungwa is a must on your safari itinerary. The
Eastern Arc Mountain range is a biodiversity hotspot with countless endemic plants,
birds and primates. This is a walkers’ paradise with waterfalls you can swim in,
amazing viewpoints through the forest canopy and onto the savannah plains, and trails
which take you to hidden valleys. There are a variety of trails accessible from the main
gate of the park and all hikes are guided by a park ranger. Your guide will point out the
primates that populate this park along with the amazing birdlife and butterflies. You can also learn more about Tanzanian culture and the plants used in traditional medicines.

DAY 6

Udzungwa National Park -Ruaha National Park.

Drive to Ruaha National Park through the
baobab filled valleys and have a stop in Iringa town for lunch or to visit a craft market.
In the afternoon your game drive will be all about the big game - watch out for lions
hunting, see giant tuskers coming to the river and look out for leopards.

DAY 7

Ruaha National Park.

Spend the next day exploring this unique National Park, you will lose no time in the morning to get a fresh kill or see predators hunting. The largest elephant population in East Africa is found in Ruaha and you will see plenty of giant tuskers’ dust bathing, crossing the river system, and gathering in enormous herds. You can also see cheetah, hyena, lion and leopard, and along with the normal plains game of zebra, buffalo, giraffe, impala, grants gazelle, bushbuck, waterbuck and kudu… you will also see oribi, klipspringer, roan and sable antelopes. DAY 8

Ruaha National Park.

After morning breakfast choose either full day game drive
with picnic lunch or morning half day game drive and return for hot lunch before
heading back for another afternoon game drive. In this day you will explore the river
drive and the meanders of the Great Ruaha River, seek out the prides of lions of Mdonya
until sunset. Because it is your last stay you can pay extra to a Night game drive.

DAY 9

Ruaha to Morogoro.

After breakfast, drive via masai boma experiencing their natural way of life, continue to Morogoro enjoy watching several beautifully topographical features such as mountains, hills and plateaus covered with thick forest, grasses also flower. Overnight at Simbamweni lodge Morogoro OR FOREST HILL MOROGORO--BB

DAY 10

Morogoro to Dar es salaam.

Your guide will transfer you back to Dar es salaam (3-4hrs) Or choose to go by SGR train to Dar es salaam. Upon arrival you can proceed to Zanzibar or go back home. SAFARI END
