DeanfromSeattle2024-03-13The Best in Tsavo! We went to several lodges in Kenya - Tsavo, Amboseli, Masai Mara - and this was our favorite! There are not enough superlatives to describe the whole experience. The rooms are over the top with floor to ceiling windows that have expansive savannah views. Food and service are attentive - they provided us a private dinner. Ask for pizza - they have a custom pizza oven. Game drive guides is patient, knowledgeable, and made sure that we saw everything that we wanted. Highly recommend!
Jay V2024-03-13Beautiful and unique Safari!! First the location is out of this world! The cottages are beautiful with everything you wish for and more. The staff again are truly amazing people! Over the top !! Our drivers were excellent in their skills and knowledge of the wildlife and their surroundings which shows their love for Kenya nature. The food was awesome and they paid close attention to food allergies, providing wonderful alternatives. This is with out question a must " go to Safari camp"
Myrna V2024-03-13First safari experience and it was exceptional! Just an awesome place!!!! We were treated like royalty. Cottages were sooo comfortable and above and beyond. Beds comfortable, pillows great, so clean, outside shower great. We always had hot water. So welcoming! Food was delicious and our needs were catered to. Shout out to our waiters, Cosmos, Julia and others. All great! Kevin and Adam are excellent! They just make sure you have everything you need without even asking. Phyllis at reception very accommodating along with all of them. Joy gave a great massage - even had it outside my door in the fresh air! Just “wow” to our great safari drivers - Duncan and Harry! They were the greatest! Very informative, kind, caring! They made every drive so beautiful! Such awesome bush breakfast and sundowner. Unbelievable! It was our first safari experience and it certainly was a 10 out of 10!!!

DeAnn L2024-02-255 star boutique experience The experience from arrival to departure was outstanding. The rooms were tranquil, spacious and beautiful. The view from the bluff is breathtaking. Relaxing on the wrap around porch is just heavenly. The main lodge area evokes the same feel of the room. The restaurant offers a comfortable plush couches around the fireplace to relax and enjoy the view. Nothing is rushed, the staff gives you all the time to enjoy. The food was 5 star in taste, variety and presentation. Our daily safaris varied in areas covered, animals we encountered, and general feel. Harry our guide was extremely knowledgeable and planned his route on our interests. The staff in general were always at hand to answer questions or lend a hand. Exceptional customer service. The manager, Mariana, made herself accessible to the guests always and checked in with us multiple times a day. Her knowledge, suggestions and stories made our stay feel as our experience was her primary concern. One day I was not feeling well and Mariana provided Tylenol and a local tea remedy which tasted terrible but really worked. We would return to Lion’s Bluff in a heartbeat. The accommodations and staff exceeded our expectations. Truly an extraordinary boutique experience.

Team Cowan2024-02-24The most luxurious, fantastic and relaxing safari experience during our 2-years living in Kenya! We moved to Kenya two years ago and have been on dozens of safaris. This was the most luxurious, fantastic and relaxing experience we have had, to date. Our guide, Harry, was exceptionally knowledgeable on all flora and fauna and knew where to be to compose the most epic photos and videos. It was almost as if the wildlife was posing for him! The entire staff was superbly attentive without being overbearing or pushy. The grounds were stunning and meticulously kept. Each room was exquisitely appointed with exceptional attention to detail, design and technology. Everything was functional and exactly where you would expect it to be. Wifi was uninterupted throughout — no matter where we walked on the property; in our room or throughout the lodge. The entire lodge including walkways and rooms were well lift, functionally and fashionably throughout. Safari vehicles had working power, and a refrigerator! The manager, Michela, was absolutely fantastic as well — she made us feel welcome and well attended to during our stay. It is obvious that a tremendous amount of thought, experience and expertise went into every decision and detail at Lions' Bluff! Only complaint is we had to leave….but we will be back for sure!
